Hillary's Inconvenient "Oversight"
- Oversight my oopsie-doopsie.
Right... Cool Like That...

MR. RUSSERT: Many people who’ve been criticizing you have said: Senator, if you would just do one thing and that is sign Form 180, which would allow historians and journalists complete access to all your military records. Thus far, you have gotten the records, released them through your campaign. They say you should not be the filter. Sign Form 180 and let the historians…
SEN. KERRY: I’d be happy to put the records out. We put all the records out that I had been sent by the military. Then at the last moment, they sent some more stuff, which had some things that weren’t even relevant to the record. So when we get–I’m going to sit down with them and make sure that they are clear and I am clear as to what is in the record and what isn’t in the record and we’ll put it out. I have no problem with that.
MR. RUSSERT: Would you sign Form 180?
SEN. KERRY: But everything, Tim…
MR. RUSSERT: Would you sign Form 180?
SEN. KERRY: Yes, I will.

Ah, yes... The Hillster once again becomes the "victim" of an honest to goodness mistake any fourth grader would catch.
And she wants to be our President?
She doesn't even know the words to our National Anthem. When a mic caught her singing about a month ago, she sang (very poorly I might add): ...Gave proof through "OUR" night, that our flag was still there."
And we're giving her grief over "accidenatlly" forgetting to disclose certain information?
God forgive us! Talk about picking on the challenged!
Washingtonpost.com ended their article regarding this situation with a couple of interesting comments:
"Such omissions deprive the public of the right to scrutinize their political leaders' financial dealings and identify possible conflicts of interest, the former chief of disclosure for the Federal Election Commission said.
Kent Cooper, who retired after two decades overseeing the FEC's public disclosure office, said congressional ethics committees have not enforced the ethics disclosure requirements forcefully. As a result, he said, candidates 'know there is no great consequences, and so the habit has developed that people dismiss an omission as a clerical error, when in fact it is a crucial piece of the puzzle about a member's finances that is being hidden.'"
And we end up asking ourselves yet again, are there any honest politicians left in the land of the brave? Sadly, it doesn't appear so. God help us all!
Thanks for the noteworthy post Anonymous, and, Happy Birthday!, too...
Thing is, Hillary signed those submission forms under penalty of perjury, she attested that all the information she had to provide was listed, though i'm pretty damn certain Hillary was certain this was left off (is she so wealthy she forgot about $5M?). So, following the "logic" of the Democrats, Hillary should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, threated with trial and jail time. What's good for Scooter Libby is good enough for Hillary. And, as an aside, what's happening with Mr $90K-of-marked-FBI-money-found-in-my-freezer? Anything? Anything at all besides being appointed to top-level positions by Nancy Pelosi? But, I digress...
This'll be a fun lil project for me... finding out who has headed up the Congressional Ethics Committees for the last twenty years. Maybe a trend will emerge... *insert 1950s mystery music here* dun... dun... dun.... More to come...
