NBC Is Calling It "The MacArthur Park Mêlée"
MIWON organized the protest/march/rally on 01 May 2007 in Los Angeles.
MIWON Organization Members are; garmentworkercenter.org, kiwa.org, chirla.org, pwcsc.org, and idepsca.org.
The Multi-ethnic Immigrant Workers Organizing Network (MIWON) and its relationship to George Soros via Google.
Koreatown Immigrant Workers Alliance (KIWA) and its relationship to George Soros via Google.
The Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights of Los Angeles (CHIRLA) and its relationship to George Soros via Google.
garmentworkercenter.org did not produce any hits via Google when coupled with “Soros”.
The Institute of Popular Education of Southern California (IDEPSCA) and it’s relationship to George Soros via Google.
All these organization tout the advancement of the human and civil rights of immigrants and refugees; the promotion of harmonious multi-ethnic and multi-racial human relations; coalition-building, advocacy, community education and organizing, and empowering immigrants and their allies to build a more just society.
A more just society? How "just" is it to break the law? If you're an IMMIGRANT, you already enjoy these things. If you're an ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT you have already broken the law and are a criminal. No two ways about this. There is an established process by which legal entry into the United States is gained. Bypass that legal authority and you have broken the law. No questions. No fuzzy logic. No misunderstandings. That's the bottom line.
Establishing, now, exactly who is running the show (George Soros), things can be viewed in their proper and very illuminating light.
From the MIWON Webpage (exactly as it is written):
“May 1st 2007 There WERE thousand of people marching with us but sadly a group cause problem and got many hurt police reacted in a bad way but shooting the people with plastic bullets after our communities were asking for peace and dignity, Stop Police Brutality ,Legalization for all”
Hmmmm. “but sadly a group cause problem and got many hurt.” MIWON may want to react harshly to and blame those that actually created the problem instead of placing blame on the police. Throw things at the police, intentionally, you’re going to be shut down, and shut down fast.
Attendees of the protest said there was a failure to communicate. Police Chief Bratton said there was a failure to communicate. There was no failure to communicate. This is the excuse the police are using to soften the story for the public. Wiggle room. The local NBC affiliate tonight said sixty officers have been removed from duty (the vast majority of those officers Latino).
I wonder why it is no one is acknowledging the helicopters repeatedly blaring from loudspeakers overhead for the crowd to disperse. "It was in English". And no one in the crowd spoke English or could instantly translate what was said into Spanish? C'mon, people. Use your common sense. This is yet another ploy by the illegals within our communities, and those that support open borders, to cry "victim", to garner media attention, to garner Liberal political attention.
Having to listen to the Pedophile Protector Cardinal Roger Mahony, the disingenuous Los Angeles Mayor Antonio R. Villaraigosa, and the media-hungry Police Chief William Bratton is sickening. Especially the police. With their hats in their hands and their eyes downcast, muttering "we did a bad thing - because you think we did." Disgusting. Villaraigosa spent the day at the park reassuring people it "was a safe place" (despite the many rapes which happen in that park each month). But, on the whole, it is a safe place. As long as belligerent, bottle-tossing protesters with no respect for authority are NOT there under (marching) orders from George Soros or his minions.
The unruly in the crowd were tossing what looked like water bottles at the police, and they were water bottles, but those water bottles had spent the night prior in a freezer and were rock hard. Nice. One of those Leftist tactics; bring something that looks innocuous to the protest - then use it as a weapon.
The NBC affiliate here is attempting to lay blame on the police instead of the bottle tossers, calling it two separate issues. And they're discussing the ramifications of the police harassing the media. Excuse me? Legal ramifications? Harassing the media? Last time I looked, the media are people, too, and subject to the exact same disperse order as the crowd. Disperse means disperse. Now. Not when you're finished with your report, not when you feel like it - now.
COME ON! How incredulously STUPID do you have to be to buy into this victimization nonsense?
Liberal Stupid.
