Candidates Forum on Service | MSNBC
McCain's portion was first; sincere, straightforward, well thought-out. Every question was a surprise for McCain, something he had not heard before nor planned on answering.
Obama, sitting in the wings, listened to everything McCain said, mentioned his listening to McCain's replies at least three times, and then went on to plug the "boot camp" (in a round-about way) he and Michelle have set up as a "non-profit", profit-making enterprise with the financial assistance and backing of George Soros, to create a whole new generation of deeply indoctrinated Marxists to run communities as activists (they are sequestered for a year in this "activist camp", paid, and have obligatory classes, seminars, and retreats).
The questioners were horrible. Tough on McCain and easy on Obama. They are both liberals and Obama supporters. Nothing non-partisan about this event. It really ticked me off that Obama was given the second seat and carte blanche to McCain's replies.
Both candidates expressed their opinions well, Obama a little too activist for me in his thinking, but then, his past actions and current undertakings (and associations) are suspect.
